The SHARP Principles resource cards help practitioners to plan and deliver physical education lessons with a focus on active learning.
The SHARP Principles (Powell, Woodfield and Nevill, 2016) have been designed to help teachers and coaches to increase the amount of time children engage in physical activity during physical education lessons. The SHARP Principles place a focus on active learning time which provides the children with opportunities to practice their movement skills.
Through the use of these cards practitioners can apply the SHARP Principles to their existing planning for all activity areas. There is a free online video available to accompany these cards.
Once ordered, the SHARP Principles resource cards will be provided as a pdf via email.
Please note: Contact details will be requested in order for contact to be made around two to four weeks after ordering, to obtain feedback on the SHARP Principles resource cards.
